A Concert On The Occasion Of The Francophone Days

The Francophone Days Of Amman was held at the Hussein Cultural Center. The event took place on April 8th 2001. The Francophone Days were organized by 13 embassies of French speaking countries in cooperation with the ministry of Education and the greater Amman municipality (GAM) A great verity of Arab and foreign countries participated in this event.

The Arab countries that participated in this event included Egypt,Lebanon,Morocco,Jordan Tunisia,and Mauritania.

Foreign countries that participated in the event included France,Canada, and Romania The Francophone days of Amman were aimed at promoting French culture and encouraging people to study the French language and lifestyle. The concert was only one of the many events that were part of this festive occasion.It featured songs sang in French by the Jordanian student Dyala Salameh.
