Weshm's Musical Performance

A concert was performed at Darart Al Funun on April 15th 2001 The concert featured the Moroccan Dutch group "Weshm".The concert was entitled "Tayya Ala Tayya".

The message transmitted to the world through "Weshm 's" musical performances is one of freedom of expression.

The other should be able to express his/her opinion freely without fear or exploitation.,furthermore, Weshm aims to get to the 'why of things" through their musical performances, to divorce logic and to create an aesthetically related reality.

	Weshm get their sources of inspiration from different genres of African, and Andalusian music, They are constantly exploring the musical heritage of the Moroccan area while combining it with other forms of musical expression. The group borrow from the far east the breathing technique and the virtuosity of the voice. The mythical sound of the flute seen in weshm's musical performances is also attributed to that part of the world. The Weshm Ensemble consists of Najib Cherradi song and composition, Kamal Hors UD Choral percussion,Adel Al Bahri UD choral senir szz.
