A press conference was conduced with members from the Center of Excellence in Education and the Ministry of Education on December 12th 2001. The conference was aimed at announcing to the Jordanian press the results of the interschool science competition, which was held between the time period of November 17th and November 24th 2001. The event witnessed the participation of over 5000 students all coming from different schools in the country. During the conference prominent figures in the organization spoke about the competition's role as an enhancing source for Jordanian education and teaching methods. The Jordanian Ministry of Education was said to always strive to keep itself updated on the latest developments seen in teaching methodology theory. Interschool competitions were viewed as a strengthening tool for interschool relationships. This point was overtly stated during the conference at hand.
