The Moldings of a Landscape

A lecture on arid landscapes was conducted at Darat Al Funun on May 30th 2001. The lecture dealt with the molding of landscapes, so as to fit the needs of the people. The lecture also dealt with the nature and typology of arid landscapes, and the challenges arid lands present when being used. The lecture was conducted by a professor of Landscape Architecture from the university of Arizona. The professor specializes in Arizona landscapes, and applies her knowledge of such landscapes to other pieces of land. During her lecture the professor discussed both natural and manmade landscapes.
